Houston, TX (Newsworthy.ai) Friday Jul 7, 2023 @ 9:00 AM Eastern —
Richard Finger, a renowned Houston Businessman and Founder of Republicans for Pro-Choice asserts that for Republicans to secure victory over Democrats in the Presidential election, they must change their stance on abortion.

According to The Lines, the current President, Joe Biden, is considered the frontrunner and most sportsbooks place the odds of around +150 for winning the Presidency in 2024. Finger highlights that Biden's lead should serve as a wake-up call for Republicans, signaling the need to change their stance to regain control of the White House.

"That Joe Biden leads in any poll after the apocalypse he has wrought on America should send a loud message to the "other party." If the polls are true, and that's certainly open to question, then Donald Trump might be the only person in America unable to beat the deaf, dumb, and blind Biden," argues Finger.

Republicans for Pro-Choice asserts that there is substantial support within the Republican Party to permit abortions during the first trimester. According to the organization, they claim that 74 percent of Republicans favor such policies. Republicans for Pro-Choice aims to change the highly restrictive abortion law in Texas. This law, enacted after the repeal of Roe v. Wade, criminalizes all abortions, including those arising from cases of rape or incest, with potential imprisonment as a penalty. Republicans for Pro-Choice have led the call for a compromise. The Republican Party needs to adapt to the changing times, recognizing that while abortion should always be a last resort, there may be circumstances where it is necessary and should be legally accessible, states Republicans for Pro-Choice.

"Regardless, no Republican will capture the White House without moderation on their draconian position on women's reproductive rights," exclaims Finger.

Women are powerful, says Finger. With every passing election cycle, the number of Senators, Congresswomen, and other elected officials from diverse backgrounds has continued to increase. There are now more women in the current 118th Congress than ever before. The influence and power wielded by women in politics are steadily expanding. While it is important to respect the viewpoints of Pro-Life proponents, various surveys consistently indicate that a substantial majority of voters seek a reasonable middle ground regarding this delicate issue, explains Republicans for Pro-Choice.

"Women are 28 percent of Congress and more than 50 percent of medical and law school enrollment; they are powerful. Democrat or Republican, they don't want 70-year-old white Republican males telling them what to do with their bodies," states Finger.

For more information about Republicans for Pro-Choice, visit Republicans for Pro-Choice (republicansforprochoice.com)

This press release is distributed by the Newsworthy.ai™ Press Release Newswire - News Marketing Platform™.

Houston, TX (Newsworthy.ai) Wednesday Apr 12, 2023 @ 9:00 PM Pacific —
According to a recent Rasmussen poll, Republicans and Democratic voters alike favor allowing first-trimester abortion. A Gallup survey reveals the highest number of Americans (55%) identifying as pro-choice since 1995. Today, Texas Republican Richard Finger announces the launch of www.RepublicansForProChoice.com, a 501 (c) (4) non-profit organization dedicated to shifting the conversation within the Republican party by promoting compromise as a means of finding common ground among Republicans and working towards solutions that respect both individual rights and the sanctity of life.

"I have three daughters," says Republicans For Pro-Choice Founder Richard Finger. "Three daughters who deserve the right to choose. As a lifelong Republican, I founded Republicans For Pro-Choice to provide a platform to connect like-minded Republicans across the country, facilitating open and honest conversations about reproductive rights and promoting policies supporting sensible reproductive healthcare access. I founded Republicans For Pro-Choice for people who believe as I do. People who believe in a woman's right to choose."

Republicans For Pro-Choice seeks the repeal the draconian Texas abortion statutes, which outlaw all abortion under penalty of criminal prosecution, even in cases of rape and incest. Furthermore, Texas has recently doubled down with a new legislative proposal effectively aimed at limiting free speech in the state by calling for a ban on websites that provide information about abortion. If passed, this possibly unconstitutional attack on free speech will not only severely impact women's rights, especially economically disadvantaged people who lack the resources to travel for an abortion.

Republicans For Pro-Choice is unique in its aims to bring Pro-Life and Pro-Choice Republicans under one roof. The organization's newly launched website features a range of resources for Republicans interested in advocating for reproductive rights and staying up to date on news and analysis of ongoing legislative anti-abortion campaigns across the nation, such as South Carolina's recently proposed bill that would allow the death penalty for women who get an abortion.

"Unfortunately, the Republican party is imploding within," says Finger. "As Republicans, we believe in less government, individual freedom, and personal responsibility. That includes the prerogative for women to make healthcare decisions without state interference. Since the repeal of Roe v. Wade, Democrats have done a masterful job of painting all Republicans as extremists. Yet most Republicans are moderate. Endorsing first-trimester abortion can hopefully prevail as a reasonable accommodation for all involved. The survival of the party depends on it."

Republicans for Pro-Choice invites all Republicans who believe in a woman's right to choose to visit www.RepublicansForProChoice.com and support this movement today.

Contact: Richard Finger Founder, Republicans for Pro-Choice Email Contact

This press release is distributed by the Newsworthy.ai™ Press Release Newswire - News Marketing Platform™.
