Glen Rose kicks off its biggest summer events with consecutive celebrations this July: a hometown Fourth of July festival featuring fireworks and live music, followed by Texas country favorite Reckless Kelly performing at the newly remodeled Texas Amphitheater on July 18. Music lovers from across North Texas are invited to experience three days of free live entertainment during the annual Paluxy Music Fest, taking place Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, throughout Glen Rose.

The city-wide music festival will feature performances at venues across the community, including Historic Square, Snyder's Tavern Lawn Stage, Texas Amphitheater, Sexton Feed Mill, Glen Rose Brewing Company, and H&H Supply Company. Festivalgoers can enjoy country, Americana, jazz, blues, gospel, and acoustic music while exploring Glen Rose's restaurants, attractions, lodging, shopping, and entertainment venues.
